Reading is a huge part of a student's learning. To motivate a student to continue and love reading is also another important part. The materials in my project will help to create an environment where my students would be able to enjoy reading comfortably, instead of worrying about limited spacing or whether or not their materials would work. I hope to create a space where students can sit comfortably to get lost in their books. The Solid Bean Bag chairs will allow students to read comfortably during our reader's workshop, and the Three Tier Open Bookshelf will help to enhance our collection of books, so that students will have their favorite books displayed in front of them while they read. The gluesticks will be used during various parts of the day, during projects and within their interactive notebooks. The 30 Slot Blue File Organizer will be used to teach students a sense of responsibility and organization as they turn in work/exams into their individual slots. This will allow me to see whether or not they have their work turned in daily. By donating to our project, you will help to increase the focus of my students during reader's workshop, and help to enhance their love for reading even more!
