"Hooray for Diffendoofer Day!" is a celebration of creativity in learning and in life. This is Dr. Seuss' last book, and was published posthumously. As part of our school's celebration of Read Across America, we are planning on having our own 'Diffendoofer Day' here in school with parent volunteers, projects, games, songs, and books. Most of the teachers in our school don't have a copy of this book, and our library doesn't have one either. We want our students to understand that learning can be fun, and we want their imaginations fired up. Every teacher will get a copy of this fantastic book to read aloud to their students this week as we take a break from the ordinary and attempt to become the extraordinary.
