We are going to use the ukulele to enhance our curriculum. Musical song increases students' abilities to comprehend, think critically, and analyze. Potential reading levels will increase through the use of singing. Using ukuleles, students will improve in all academic areas. Students will be able to memorize math facts using ukulele tunes as well as make up songs to enhance their vocabulary. Using this modality of learning will help increase ways to learn and think about core subjects taught in class. They will be able to transfer these skills in music to other academic areas. They will work hard to use these newfound skills.

About my class
