Our school does not have footballs for PE. It is a great sport to learn motor skills, coordination, and teamwork. I would like to offer our elementary kids the opportunity to learn this sport especially since it generally leans toward one gender, and I want all kids to feel empowered to play! I feel passionately that children of all abilities can be successful when given the opportunities to grow and learn! I want our school to be inclusive and this will help girls feel confident joining the boys as they play football out at recess! This equipment will help me offer specific lessons that develop our students' fine motor skills as well as learning the fundamentals to a sport that can contribute to lifelong health and strength.
