It is my wish to provide my students with a space and books in which to engage in the joy of a good book. My classroom library is in urgent need of an update! I am finding the need to replace many of my books to support and grow the children's love of learning. Having daily down time to stretch out on the rug and read a good book is so valuable in reducing the stress of the faster pace of our classrooms. Children love to look at books, and are so proud when their skills allow them to read it themselves. It increases their fluency throughout the year and they love to read and reread the books in our classroom library.

About my class
