My class is full of hard working students who want to be successful in every area of their education. These students push me to be a better teacher than the day before, and always push me out of my comfort zone. My classroom is full of students from different backgrounds and who have many different learning needs. One of those needs is being comfortable when they learn. We are a part of an inner city, title 1 school that has been blessed with enough traditional desks and chairs for every student. Throughout my first year of teaching I quickly learned that not all my students like to sit when they learn or like to stay still. My goal as a teacher is for all of my students to feel successful in everything they do, but in order for my students to be successful they need to have areas to work where they are comfortable and can do their best work. By funding our project you will be blessing students who’s favorite time of day is when they are at school learning. Through your generous donations you will be blessing students who strive to be their best no matter their personal circumstances. This project contains stools, wobble chairs and a round table to offer my students alternative seating to the traditional desks and chairs with the help of flexible seating I hope to create a warm and comfortable environment that my students are excited to come into every morning. I hope to challenge the idea that schools must be constricted to traditional desks and chairs.
