My students are required to spend 15 minutes a day on the iPads for math and 20 minutes a day on iPads for language arts. We currently do not have headphones in our classroom so the students are easily distracted by other things going on in the classroom. The headphones will give my students a better learning opportunity by allowing them to do these programs without distraction and allow for more focused learning. The Snap-Dinos, and Magna-Tiles will be used for oral language block. An hour of my students day is spent at oral language block. This is a time that allows them to learn language skills through play with other students. We have four stations for our students to go to. My block/building station is very minimal, so both of these would go to my block/building station to allow my students to explore with different kinds of blocks and get the best oral language opportunity that they can.
