Learning should be fun and not boring, students love Legos and they love to code, what better way to do both? By having access to coding supplies and Legos they ordinarily would not have access to, I can make learning much more interesting for my students. Those students who are hard to motivate will be so engaged. My specific student population consists of quite a few students who are struggling readers and a hands on experience such as this can really give their self esteem a boost. This is exactly what my students need to transfer what we learn in science into real life situations.
