My students love hands on learning that is different from their everyday classroom environment. Clay has the ability to engage them like no other material can. This project would give me the opportunity to share ceramics with them and create some great works of art. My students love creating things from clay, creating art that they will keep for a lifetime. I would like to engage my students in STEAM assignments to bring science and math into the art classroom through clay projects that explore creating sound. Creating memorable learning through projects helps students make connections and gain a deeper understanding of their learning.
