I want to have reading material in my classroom that can spark a debate and conversations about real topics in the world. Students need a chance to think about real world problems and what they could do to help solve or contribute their talents. The Choices magazine and Science will definitely help my students. I feel having this material available will open many doors for my students. We can use them for debates and also to extend our writing and storytelling. Students could be in groups or individual work. There are many ideas on how to use these on Pinterest and other websites.
