Every student in our school has access to a Mac lap top used daily to reinforce the work we are learning in class. The headphones we requested will help our students focus on their work without interrupting others. It would truly eliminate the amount of distractions between students that have a hard time focusing when working independently. Math centers play a big role in our daily school routine. The other resources are amazing math materials to help our boys and girls build conceptual understanding of the BIG ideas in math with a focus on multiplication and division. We can use the division flashcards during transitions, during math workshop and during center time. Flashcards are extremely helpful when trying to build fluency with basic multiplication and division facts. Knowing these facts is essential in succeeding in fourth grade math due to the high concepts such as multi-digit multiplication, division, and fractions. The center games we are requesting, Multiplication Power pen Learning cards and Smath are awesome interactive games our students can play in small groups or play independently once they have finished their work or during math center time. The Star Right Math Triangle Flash Cards will help students make the connection between multiplication and division by visually seeing that the order of the factors does not change the product. The Dry erase reusable pockets will be great to use during center time as well as during test prep. Center time is a great way to keep students engaged and its a great way for students to have fun while leaning and helps with their social emotional development since they are working with their peers. The answer buzzers we are requesting will make all the difference during our jeopardy review games!
