These wobble chairs will help my students to focus while they are doing small group work. It is difficult to expect 7 year-olds to be able to sit still throughout an entire lesson or activity. This is an age where my students are learning skills to focus and build stamina in reading and writing for longer periods of time. By making small changes like giving students a fidget tool or a different type of seating such as wobble chairs, they are able to be active in a way that still allows them to focus on their learning. These chairs will be used at our small group table, as well as for students who specifically need more active environments to facilitate learning.
