Many students learn better by manipulating letters. The tactile way engages them and increases their retention. I have requested magnetic letters to use with my early and emergent learners. Boost my students' literacy experiences to help them climb up the ladder of success! My students love stories about brave and influential people who have made a difference. I have CDs and books about Jackie Robinson, Cesar Chavez, Anne Frank but no cd player. With this grant, my students will enjoy listening to these inspiring stories. Finally, using hands to build structures increases spatial awareness. They will enjoy magnatiles as rewards.
