As an Engineering and Computer Technology teacher in Southern New Mexico, I am always looking for ways to help students establish healthy and meaningful relationships to STEM topics. The best way to do this is to provide hands-on instruction that brings these concepts to life! A Raspberry Pi is a microcomputer that allows students to take theory and apply it! Many Computer Science topics that feel abstract can be made clearer using these microcomputers. Through the use of added sensors and devices, students can connect to their world in a way they never had before!
