The colored markers and boards will help differentiate instruction for visual learners. Models pop out when categorized by colors, and these expo markers will allow graphs and equations to stand out! The felt letter board will help to frame year-round expectations to increase student focus and buy in. The color printer will help me to create a beautiful word wall that has both words and letters. I have several students that prefer kinesthetic activity! For middle school students that are sitting through most of their 7 periods, a bicycle desk will be a welcomed addition to help them learn and cycle their way through math problems. I am confident that this will serve a social and emotional need during class and take away the stigma of those that fidget through math lessons. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I am sure that my students in low-income communities of California will appreciate these new additions to the classroom.
