Annually, the college room celebrates student’s achievements with the college going process by having an event called “College Kick Off Day”. May 3rd, 2019 is the day of our event, a time where each senior who has applied, and has been accepted to a college/university will be celebrated. This will be a time of rejoicing and recognition to our students. We are seeking donations that will help offset the costs for students and make our College Kick Off Day successful. In addition, we want to show the senior class of 2019 that it is possible to get help. These prizes seek to ease the burden that many of our students will face as they gear up for start of their college journey. Door prizes like school supplies, comforters, microwaves, laundry baskets, and all college/dorm essentials will bring SOHO seniors closer to the next chapter in their life. South Houston’s College Room would greatly appreciate any contribution Donors Choose is able to provide for this effort.
