The resources requested will help students with language goals and academic goals. They will be able to use the What's Inside and How Long Is It boxes to describe real life objects and increase their daily language skills. The Very Hungry Caterpillar set will allow for the same goal as well as the academic goal of retelling a story which is crucial to comprehension. The idea of the paint & collage trays is to allow for a fun, hands-on art center that they will use to increase motor skills and imaginative play. I will also be able to incorporate them as boards for story telling or a classroom management system by creating a "choice board" so that they have a visual to aid language and development. These resources will be so beneficial to their language and play.
