My students need to use earphones on a daily basis. We are required to have our students participate in at least two different learning programs this year which are online. One of the programs is called ST Math and the other is a reading program called Core 5. These programs are both wonderful in that they let the students learn at their own rate. The students are all working on different levels, so it is essential that it is quiet in the classroom. Some of the programs have the students listen to pronunciation of words, passages that are read to them, or directions of how to do certain exercises. We have some earphones that we currently use, but already some of our cheaper earphones have broken so they can't be used any more. Often students will hurry to be the first one to get some decent earphones. It would be so nice to have some new earphones so that all the students have access to some good earphones.
