My students come from very low means, which is to say that they don't often get things that aren't out of necessity. For the most part, they give all that they can- but many continue to struggle. Their home lives and their school lives aren't like what it was for me. They have too many responsibilities for being young teens (8th graders). Carrithers is a public school in a very urban part of town. These kids need support from you and me!
