Wobble chairs are designed to allow students who need extra movement, in order to focus better, the opportunity to wiggle while they work! During instructional times some students need to move a bit to stay focused, which means these chairs are just what they need! During independent time students are allowed to move around the room to work. I have 1 wobble chair and I have serveral students who ALWAYS want to use it. My students can use the wobble chairs in the middle of the room, at any desk, at my reading table, and any other place they might want to sit. Anyone who has experienced 1st graders know they like to wiggle! Students love the movement to help focus and I see this in their work. Allowing my students to be comfortable and focused at all time is what I strive for! These Wobble chairs will allow more students the chance to wiggle while they work quietly. Students who are focused and working are more successful, which is what I want for all of my students. I have seen a positive affect with the 1 wobble chair I have and hope to provide more students with the same opportunity.
