My students will have a chance to experience and learn music by playing the ukulele. Studying a musical instrument has tremendous benefits to kids that go beyond the boundaries of the classroom setting. Some of these benefits are increased capacity for memory, refines organizational skills, boosts team skills, teaches perseverance, and increased mathematical ability. When it comes to the benefits of music, we don't need research to explain what we already know in our hearts. Every child should have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and to develop their musicianship. By contributing to this project, you are helping students learn music for years to come.
