This project will give opportunities for students to interact and communicate their ideas. By standing at a high table students have a different perspective, along with a physical change as well. This will give them a different way to look at a problem, talk to another student, or possibly even go off to be by themselves. Students enjoy the chance to sit next to their friends. It can be a center point for small groups to come together and share ideas and work together. Having a couch is always an important piece of furniture in a classroom setting. Giving students small group locations in the classroom will provide opportunities for positive interactions.
