With the hardcover books, the students will be given the opportunity to write their realistic fiction writing in a book and illustrate pictures to go along with their writing. When the students complete their own book and share it with their classmates, they will be able to see their accomplishments and be proud of their work. Many of my students need to be encouraged and reinforced how well they are doing. With creating their own book will remind them how amazing and hard working they are. The reusable write and wipe pockets can be used in many ways. Differentiated worksheets will be placed inside for the different learners to use and practice different skills.
