Our school goal and my goal is to improve students' comprehension skills. We have been working on growing our skills with comprehension in whole class lessons and small groups by integrating science and other subjects into reading. The Nonfiction Comprehension Cards will help students gain these skills. Along with these comprehension cards the High-Interest Nonfiction Text Sets will help students become more confident in their reading comprehension. Both of these materials can be used in skill groups and as a whole class. Together with these new reading sets my class can work towards our goal.
