These Scholastic subscriptions are engaging and aligned to the standards. They include valuable fiction stories that teach many great lessons, as well as many nonfiction articles that teach students about the world. These magazines provide opportunities to learn literature concepts such as theme, point of view, character traits, and making text connections. The students will also benefit from the great collection of informational articles which will teach them things like main idea and details, text structure, how to use text features, as well as author’s point of view and critical thinking. Best of all, these articles are engaging and fun for the children. They really enjoy reading!
