My goal is to help Kindergarten through 6th Grade students in the regular and special needs classrooms experience the excitement of creating art with different mediums and tools. They will weave on cardboard looms that will last for years, paint with new brushes using watercolors, tempera and acrylics, make painted paper with different textures and patterns for collage projects; use pastels to make silhouettes shine against the incredible backdrop of the skies, as well as plan/construct 3D quilled art by coiling & folding papers into glued designs of their choosing. All of these projects can be possible with the supplies requested and will be presented to parents and the community in a school-wide art show this year and in years to come. Please consider helping fund our project to continue to enrich and grow our students' successes through ART. These bright, curious learners have much to celebrate! Thank you!
