I am always looking for engaging new learning centers to have in my classroom. Centers allow me to differentiate instruction and give students meaningful tasks to complete as I do small group instruction. It is vital that centers are interesting enough to keep my students on task while also aligning with learning standards. I also find that my classroom lacks opportunities for my students to interact with technology. Tablets are the perfect solution to both of these challenges. We could use the tablets as a listening center, a phonics workshop, a math game center, and even use it to help with handwriting. Besides as a learning center, my class could create books and go on virtual field trips. The possibilities are endless! Please help provide my students with this amazing resource!
