Flexible seating and sensory objects allow for my students to take control of their learning by giving them alternative options that benefit them. Allowing students to be comfortable in their learning environment will result in a better performance - academically and behaviorally. My students are noticeably more eager to learn, more engaged and less distracted when given the opportunity to use flexible seating and sensory objects. The products that I have chosen will give alternative seating options and sensory tools to make a more comfortable learning environment for my students. The balance chairs and seat cushions will help those students who have lots of energy and when sitting in a desk isn't a suitable option. The essential oil-diffuser will enhance the environment to calm or even energize the students when needed. I strongly believe that student choice can have a positive effect on my students which will help them achieve even more.
