Having more technology in our classroom will enable students to have access throughout the day to do extra reading, math, and writing practice on their own. Technology engages our students and allows them to explore new ways of learning as well as pushing them forward to be the best student they can be! Having Chromebooks in our classroom allows students to do reasearch on selected topics, use programs such as Read Theory, Moby Max, amd zearn that enhance learning. These sites take learning to the next level for my students. My goal is to one day have each student their own technology so we can also use them for whole group instruction. They are fearless when it comes to technology. As children of the 21st century they need to be prepared to use technology as a way to engage in the world. This will enable them to get ready to accept this challenge and soar! The skies the limit!
