Our library is old and tired. The books are worn from use. I would love to revitalize our library and begin to bring it into the 21st century by providing items like headphones, snap circuits and a Kindle fire. I'm also really excited to create a maker space with games like UNO, Chess, Tenzi, a few coloring books and colored pencils. The students are desperate for new reading material. With funding I'm hoping to expand our current fiction section and breath new life into this community space with books like Dragon Pearl and Maximum Ride. We would love to have more learning options and opportunity to enable us to reach a wider scope and impact the growing generation. Every aspect of the library is used even down to the coloring books for kids that need time to decompress. Thank you for your consideration.
