My students will be returning to a classroom in a building that is over 100 years old in a dense urban environment. While our windows open, they only open about a foot. I am concerned about the air quality in our building in normal times, because so many students hail from communities that have higher than average asthma rates. Now, during the COVID-19 pandemic, this is an even bigger worry as many students also belong to low income communities of color that have been disproportionately impacted by this virus. This large capacity air purifier will help students to feel more at ease as they return to in-person learning this fall.
