These books will enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create as well as give students opportunities to hear stories read to them. We need to build our classroom library so that it can be a place that my students really enjoy. My students treat all the classroom materials with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read interesting new books. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind and I also asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading. Students will be able to select books at their early reading levels, which will help them continue to enjoy reading and listening story time. With these new books and audio components, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in the early stages of learning to read. This project will help enrich their experiences by transporting them to new places in their minds.
