This will be my second year teaching Kindergarten and I have learned so much from my students each and every day. Most importantly, I learned that the demands of kindergarten are strong. Students are expected to be reading and completing addition and subtraction by June. I care for my students and this project will ensure that they have additional tools they need. I want to create bins that ensure the practice of fine motor skills for my students to use each morning when they come into my classroom instead of the traditional worksheet. These tools will be great for kinesthetic learners who strive to be create in all aspects. These bins will be shared with classmates at their table which will encourage sharing, organization and problem-solving skills.
