These new adjustable workstations will give writers the motivation and focus they are yearning for. My students currently sit at traditional desks, plagued with old stickers, wobbly legs, and unfit sizing. The new tables we are seeking will suit a range of students including independent workers, peer editors, and groups of collaborators. Students will now have the option to stand while they work, an option many students prefer! By adding new seating (or standing) options, writers will have a place to go to refocus and reset, increasing stamina and confidence. These workstations will also be utilized by readers, those seeking extra support, and during break times. All of this will make the classroom environment much more inviting and comfortable.
