Implementing a sports program at Visible Men Academy. Shine Sports is an every other Friday Sports program that involves every class and student at the end of the day if earned by student. Students are divided into teams by age and grade level, teachers are coaches, stations are provided with certain time frames and then rotated. Physical education is crucial to building strong minds and healthy bodies as well as rounding out our educational curriculum. Our main issue is that we lack equipment to provide a more fun and realistic athletic environment. We are requesting flag football sideline markers, flag footballs, t-ball bat, bases, gloves and golf balls. The chosen items will be used to incorporate football, baseball and golf into our physical education curriculum. There will be activities throughout recess and physical education classes involving sports during which the materials will be used. We thank you and appreciate each and every donation that is given to help our Suns!
