We will be using these materials for set and scene design. Paint is a large part of our budget, and I use the initial rehearsal time as a way where our artists can experiment and create a truly authentic set. I have found that an environment or artistic space rich in materials leads to the most vibrant sets. I like our work to be a mural that captures where the students are at that moment in their lives. I like to go beyond the production itself and give them something that they will cherish, that does not evaporate with the last curtain call.
