Help me give my students a chance to explore Alaska during the winter. Our area of Alaska is a vacationers paradise. Too bad our own students do not have the means to enjoy it as well. We all know that kids need more exercise, but unless we give them the gear needed to get out explore we can't expect them to do this. Our Alaskan winters require needed gear to travel in the snow. Snowshoes are an excellent choice for our students. If we could get a class set of snowshoes, we could enhance our students lives tremendously. Our school would be capable of letting the students explore the forest, which may spark of love of the outdoors for the rest of their lives. Snowshoes have been used throughout our Alaskan history. Let our students have a chance to do this too.
