Civics requires students to challenge themselves using evidence-based arguments that help support or go against a policy change made by the United States Federal Government. Currently, our students read online articles. Often students get bored or want more options. That is why I want to give students more options when it comes to reading material. Our students benefit from graphic novels but need more choices when reading. They will enjoy reading magazines that include current events. They will also benefit from a bean bag in the classroom as they will get be able to get more comfortable in their reading.
