These items will be used to engage students during literacy centers. Our students love learning through hands-on activities and games! While we pull small groups for reading the rest of the students put their skills to use by practicing literacy skills through centers. This is truly one of their favorite parts of the day. These centers are interactive, fun, and engaging. Students get to feel a sense of autonomy as they practice skills that make them better readers and writers. These literacy centers will make learning fun! I have also added a few diverse texts that will be added to our classroom library! It is important that literature used in school reflects the racially, culturally, and socially diverse backgrounds that my students come from. These books will be exciting additions to our classroom library!
