One of the toughest skills that I work on with students nowadays is staying focused on the task at hand. Phones and social media are always a click away, and students would much rather be focused on their Snapchat streaks than their grammar lesson. Nearpod Gold allows me to give feedback to my students real-time while pushing them to be more hands-on with technology. With Nearpod Gold, not only are students able to become more tech-savvy, but I can see what work my students are completing and offer immediate feedback that guides them. I use Nearpod Gold on a daily basis and it has transformed my entire classroom. However, in order to receive full access of Nearpod and the live feedback options, teachers must have the Gold version, which can cost over $230 per year. Without the Gold version, my classroom loses out on so many opportunities and I quickly become overworked and burnt out because I have to do a lot more work just to find students' answers. Nearpod Gold is a huge life-saver that lets me move efficiently and quickly through my students' responses.
