This is a project that I would love to get started. This will give students an opportunity to be able to try something new and enjoy it. These various cross stitch kits and floss will not only help with learning a new skill but enhancing their math skills. Students will have to count and measure what supplies they will need to make the items. They will be able to share with parents once they complete the cross stitching patterns that they choose. I am hoping this will encourage my students to broaden their learning and understanding of working with their hands and math.
