If my project is funded, I will set up an area of the classroom designated specifically with Lego mini figures. I have a few Lego mini figures in the classroom, but not enough for all of the students to play with because sets have been donated by teachers whose own children have grown up and are not interested anymore. I am requesting a community starter set along with a minifigure set to give my students more to play with. When my students are playing with Lego figures, I always listen to their conversation. A typical conversation includes them talking about their house, the mommies, daddies, and babies. They have created a house and are able to explain what each room consists of. It must be said, that whenever they are playing with Lego figures, they all get along, and the room is calm. We love and look forward to adding to our Lego mini figures.
