Throughout the year, students make fun projects to display in our room, in the hallway, or even at businesses around the community. We enjoy using fun, bright colors to catch our audience's eyes. At the beginning of the year, these projects are done mostly with cardstock as it is easier for my students to cut and manipulate. As we go through the year, students transition to paper when they've built up their fine motor skills. In kindergarten we work a lot on social skills and regulating emotions. With a post-it note "check-in chart," students are able to identify how they are feeling and I am able to intervene when a student is having a particularly hard day. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our classroom!
