I teach two classes of first grade mathematicians. We currently have a small, gray carpet to sit on for all our class meetings. As our class size - and bodies - grow, we need more space! Help us use this class rug to gather, explore and learn throughout the day. This addition to our classroom will not only add to our space aesthetically, it will help students have "forever" spaces, where they know they have a consistent place on our group. The letters and numbers on the rug also encourage lots of fun movement activities, which help first graders focus and have fun during transitions.
