As a first year teacher there are so many things I want for my classroom to ensure I'm providing the best learning environment possible and building a firm educational foundation for my kindergartners! These dry erase boards, clipboards, and manipulatives will bring so much joy to my little kindergartners not only during whole group learning at the carpet but also in our learning centers. The dry erase boards will allow us to quickly write and erase our letters, sight words, and numbers. The clipboards will allow us to participate in whole group learning where I can closely monitor their letter and number formation. In addition, the clipboards will be used in our centers where we can "write-the-room" and also take our learning out of the classroom to the playground or other areas of the school. We will use the letter tiles and letter blocks to build our sight words, cvc words, and even our names. My kindergartners love learning! With their eagerness of learning also comes the necessity of keeping them engaged! Both of these boards will enable my students to practice together and give me the ability to model for them the correct way to write letters, numbers, and words. The manipulatives will provide a fun, hands-on way to learn to spell and sound out words. They get so excited when they learn a new skill. I cannot wait to be able to use all of these on a daily basis and see the smiles that these supplies will bring.
