One of my favorite most recent music quotes is from Elton John: “Music has healing power. It has the ability to take people out of themselves for a little while.” This truly relates to our students that have lost so much with Hurricane Michael. They have worked so hard joyfully through music games to learn the rhythm language and beginning stages of reading music. We have only been able to use our rhythm sticks, shakers, cups and a limited supply of Xylobells and Boomwhackers. We need more. These contributions will allow each student to be able to play their own instrument. Thank You!
