The unfortunate reality is that inner-city students often need additional technology and supply support. Can you imagine having to learn when you had to catch a bus at 5am in the morning to attend a school of choose but didn’t make it to school in enough time to have breakfast? How about not having access to headphones to ensure focus on digital materials? How about not having the school supplies to support express your thoughts? How about your classroom not having a printer? Now, imagine enduring these situations daily with the addition of a disability that also hinders focus. My classroom lacks supportive technology to keep the classroom running in a productive way, such as a supplies, headphones, and a printer. Also my classroom needs a on the go breakfast food supplies to support my students health needs. My students are inspirational young adults who have limitless potential and there is nothing more that I wish to do than prevent additional hardship in their safe space, school. Please consider helping fund this incredibly needed project that would affect not just this year, but years and years to come.
