I was able to have a handful of our class's most voracious readers and natural leaders meet me at our local Barnes and Noble (not a single student in my room had ever been there before)! I handed them great book, after great book, as they sorted them into a yay, nay, and maybe pile. Together we came up with this list of great books that they are eager to read and eager to share with the rest of the class. I bought a handful of books that day to send home with them over Christmas break, and I wish I could have bought them all. The kids will be back in class on Monday and ready to read, read, read! My favorite thing to hear this year has been the constant "Ms Camp, what should I read next?!"
