My first grade students come from different cultural backgrounds. They look, act and speak differently, but all have the same goal to learn. I work at Title 1 school and the majority of my students receive free or reduce lunch. We have one computer lab in our school. With one computer lab the 3-5 grade students have priority. This means my first graders do not have access to the lab to practice basic computer skills. Many of our students don't have access to computers at home. I want my first graders to have access to technology , to prepare them for the technology based society we live in. I ask them to be their best and I want them to have access to the best.
