A document camera is a necessity in our everyday classroom, especially as we will begin reading The Invention of Hugo Cabaret. There are so many pictures in this book that brings the story to life, and they play a critical role in genuinely understanding the text. My students learning will be maximized if they can engage with the book and all the pictures within it. My students benefit from visuals within their everyday learning. Therefore, this document camera would be very loved in the classroom as we would use it throughout reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. Each student deserves to have their educational experience differentiated to meet their needs, and a document camera would play a key role in creating those experiences.
